Stay Safe and Respectful This Undas 2025 in Iligan City – Full Guidelines Released

Iligan City Issues Undas 2025 Guidelines for Safe and Orderly Observance

In preparation for Undas 2025, the City Government of Iligan has issued detailed regulations under Executive Order No. 148, s. 2025, covering the period from October 31 to November 3, 2025.

Public Memorial Facilities will be open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, while Private Memorial Facilities may adjust their visitation hours according to internal policies.

Iligan Reminds Residents to Observe Cleanliness and Discipline

To promote a clean and secure environment during Undas 2025, the following reminders and measures have been set:

  • Bring personal garbage bags and use transparent bags for safety.
  • Follow the Clean As You Go (CLAYGO) principle at all times.
  • Police and Medical Assistance Desks will be available in all cemeteries.
  • Traffic Enforcement Officers and Barangay Monitoring Teams will be deployed to manage crowd flow and safety.

Prohibited Acts and Restrictions

The City Government strictly prohibits the following to maintain order:

  1. Littering, loitering, and unruly behavior within cemetery premises.
  2. Children aged 12 and below entering cemeteries unaccompanied by a parent or guardian.
  3. Vehicle entry into public cemeteries.
  4. Ambulant vendors inside cemeteries from October 31 to November 3, 2025.
  5. Wearing of jackets, caps, sunglasses, and backpacks used to conceal prohibited items.
  6. Partying, karaoke, gambling, overnight stays, and bringing of liquor, drugs, or weapons within cemetery grounds.

These rules aim to ensure that all residents can honor their departed loved ones in a respectful and peaceful manner.
