Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

The R&D Specialist will be responsible for carrying out assigned technical product development projects, including process development, under the close supervision of a superior. The role involves:

• Analyzing project objectives for assigned product development work
• Preparing and executing appropriate experimental designs
• Interpreting results from experimentation
• Recommending actions resulting from project work
• Supporting business goals for one or more product categories through research and development

This position contributes directly to the improvement and creation of Del Monte products for the market.

Qualifications for Applicants

• Graduate of BS Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry
• Preferably with at least 1 year of in-house packaged food product development experience
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
