Iligan Advances MICE Board Formation for Stronger Business Tourism
The City Government of Iligan, in collaboration with the Center for Digital Iligan Innovation and Sustainability (CDIIS) and the Iligan City Tourism Office, is set to convene a follow-through meeting to formalize the creation of the MICE Iligan Board.
Scheduled for November 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM, the meeting will take place at the Digital Creatives Hub Iligan, marking a key step in strengthening the city’s position as a rising destination for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions.
Sector-Wide Participation Encouraged
Stakeholders across multiple sectors are invited to take part in shaping the future of Iligan’s MICE and business tourism landscape. These include representatives from:
- Government offices
- Event venues and convention centers
- Accommodation and food service establishments
- Travel, tour, and transport operators
- Event management and production groups
- Creative industries, cultural groups, and artists
- Education institutions including TESDA and HEIs
