Iligan Tourism Strengthens as ICTTOA Elects and Inducts New Officers

Iligan City, Philippines – The Iligan City Travel and Tour Operators Association (ICTTOA) gathered last weekend for the election and induction of its new set of officers, marking another step toward strengthening the city’s tourism industry. The assembly brought together Iligan’s travel and tour operators, as well as transport service providers, in a unified effort to promote collaboration, inclusivity, and sustainable tourism initiatives.


Iligan Tourism Unites Under New ICTTOA Leadership

The newly elected ICTTOA officers are as follows:

  • President: Ms. Jana Jean Dacobor (Lakbay Diyalogo Travel and Tours)
  • Vice President: Mr. Akremi Ali (Re-elected, REM Travel and Tours)
  • Secretary/PIO: Mr. Rash Lebumfacil (Lebumfacil Transport Services)
  • Treasurer: Ms. Sheena Marajas (JM Echaves Car Rental)

Board Members:

  • Transport: Zimatar Luminog (Jozil Travel and Tours)
  • Travel Agency: Jun Alifio (Marchris Travel and Tours)
  • Tour Operators: Reggie Punongbayan (Bayan Travel and Tours)

Outgoing Secretary Ms. Cyril Salera presented a report highlighting ICTTOA’s past initiatives, achievements, and ongoing challenges, while members shared insights and goals for future programs that would enhance both tourism operations and visitor experience in Iligan.

The induction ceremony was graced by City Councilor Michelle Sweet, Committee Chair on Tourism and Culture, who officially administered the oath of office. In her message, Councilor Sweet underscored the importance of synergy among stakeholders, encouraging the group to continue developing Iligan’s tourism potential through innovative and community-driven approaches.
