Iligan Freelancing Community Empowers Local Talent Through “Freelance Forward”
The Iligan Freelancing Community (IFC) continues to drive professional growth among local freelancers through its second season of Freelance Forward, a learning and networking meetup focused on freelance success and digital entrepreneurship.
This year’s keynote speaker, Jelly Herrera, brings a wealth of experience from managing over 100 international eCommerce marketing campaigns across the US, UK, and Australia. Once a Physics teacher, Jelly transitioned into the digital space, evolving from freelancer to founder of the VA Academy and HeadQuarters Iligan, a coworking hub dedicated to nurturing Iligan’s creative professionals.
At the Freelance Forward 2025 event, Herrera will discuss how strategic thinking, mindset shifts, and intentional growth can transform a freelancing career into a thriving business. The talk aims to inspire Iliganon freelancers to scale their services, attract global clients, and create local impact.
Participants can expect:
- Practical insights on client acquisition and scaling strategies for freelancers
- Real-world lessons from a globally experienced digital marketing leader
- Networking opportunities with Iligan’s growing freelancer and creative community
Tickets are available at ₱300 (regular) and ₱500 (premium).
