Kasalan ng Bayan 2026 Opens Limited Slots in Iligan

The City Government of Iligan is preparing for its Kasalan ng Bayan 2026, a free mass wedding program aligned with the observance of Civil Registration Month this February. With only 50 slots available, the initiative invites live-in couples who have lived together for five years or more to formalize their union.

Requirements for Interested Couples

Applicants must prepare the following documents:

• Birth Certificates (PSA or local copy) of the couple
• Birth Certificate of child or children, if applicable
• Barangay Certification proving cohabitation for at least five years
• Barangay Indigency
• Barangay Residency
• Death Certificate of deceased spouse if widowed
• Government-issued ID, two photocopies
• CENOMAR (to be processed for free by the organizers)

Mobile Registration Schedule

To ease the process, the City Civil Registrar’s Office will accept submissions through mobile registration at:

• City Public Plaza: December 11–12, 2025 and December 17–19, 2025
• City Civil Registrar’s Office: January 1–15, 2026

Couples who successfully register will receive:

• Free wedding rings
• Free arrhae
• Free bridal gown
• Free barong for the groom
• Additional wedding surprises

The deadline for submission is January 15, 2026.
